TEACHER CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT PROGRAMS

Kindred Spirits organizes several programs per year where teachers are able to acquire semester hours for their participation on the tour. We focus on tours / programs that foster inspiring experiences, cultural understanding, awareness of global issues and conservation efforts around the world. We endeavor to expose you to a variety of experiences that you will embrace and hopefully take back to the classroom. Since the goals of each teacher is different, we work with you before the trip to ensure that those goals will be met.

These programs are currently available for credit through the Colorado School of Mines Teacher Enhancement Program. Credits range from one to three depending on the length of the program and projects involved. Each program is led by an expert in the field of study and includes educational materials and pre-trip documents.

Kindred Spirits is in the process of finding other high schools and universities throughout the United States that will offer credit to teachers and students. Please call us if you have any questions.

Many of our programs are perfect for student travel-study tours. Call us to customize an educational / cultural tour, service program or combination for your students. Teacher / group leader land costs are minimal or free depending on the destination, itinerary, and number of students.
